In November 2019, Adobe launched the Photoshop for iPad app, following the unveiling of the photo-editing app development plan in 2018. Despite being built on the same codebase as the desktop version, it was released with limited features. The company aimed to enhance the product based on how people use Photoshop on mobile devices.
Recently, the company introduced two major improvements to the Photoshop app on iPad: Refine Edge Brush and Rotate Canvas (frame rotation) using two-finger gestures during editing. This is intended to provide functionality equivalent to the PC version, with Refine Edge Brush offering more useful features for iPad users.
