When purchasing a new computer, it comes with pre-installed third-party software including trial versions of programs, antivirus software, backup software, DVD burning software, multimedia players, and more. Developers pay computer manufacturers to 'add' their software to the device, essentially helping manufacturers 'cut costs' on hardware and compete with others.
The issue is that many pre-installed programs, or bloatware, can slow down computer performance and inconvenience users.
With the release of AdwCleaner 7.4, Malwarebytes adds a new feature capable of detecting and removing Bloatware.

In tests conducted by Bleepingcomputer, AdwCleaner 7.4 can detect and remove pre-installed software including: LenovoEasyCamera, LenovoMController, LenovoUtility, AcerPowerManagement, AcerUpdater, and PackardBellPowerManagement.
Additionally, some pre-installed software is deeply integrated into the hardware. AdwCleaner 7.4 creates system restore points whenever these programs are removed.
To restore deleted programs or software, users simply need to access the Preinstalled software tab in the Quarantine section.
