New Features in Minecraft 1.21
Mojang reveals that following Strongholds, Fortresses, and Mansions, Minecraft version 1.21 will introduce a new structure called the Trial Chamber. Each Trial Chamber is designed to provide challenges for combat enthusiasts. It will feature numerous rooms and corridors, housing many Supply Chests filled with rewards for gamers.

However, finding the treasure isn't easy, as the Trial Chamber is scattered with Trial Spawners capable of summoning increasing numbers of monsters based on the number of intruders. They're generated entirely at random, so gamers need not worry about repetition and boredom.

Some new material blocks will also debut in this version, such as the Copper Bulb lantern, which can adjust brightness based on the player's polishing efforts. Mojang promises to release more copper material blocks in the future, so the dream of constructing entirely copper-themed structures may not be far off for gamers.

As you may know, this year Mojang organized a vote allowing gamers to choose 1 out of 3 new creatures to be introduced in the game in patch 1.21: crab, penguin, and armadillo. The final result saw Armadillo emerge victorious with 40% of the votes, set to debut next year. It can provide gamers with materials to craft armor for their beloved dogs.

Armadillo isn't the only new creature in this version. Mojang announced a new mob called Breeze will appear in the Trial Chamber, resembling the Blaze mobs found in the Nether. These creatures attack players by blowing gusts of wind and can even trigger pressure plates or trapdoors, making the Trail Chamber exploration full of surprises.

Minecraft + Factorio
New Feature in Minecraft 1.21
What was mentioned above is just an appetizer. According to Mytour, the most significant change in Minecraft 1.21 is the enhanced automation capability, eliminating the need for players to manually craft materials. Specifically, Mojang will introduce a new workstation called the Crafter into the game:

This automated crafting feature has long existed in mods like Tekkit or Create, but its official inclusion in vanilla Minecraft will unlock countless new possibilities for players. You can build an entire industrial complex with a series of Crafters, each producing specific materials and converging them to meet every need.
This small new item will permanently change how Minecraft players play. It's something that redstone-savvy Minecrafters have long desired. It will enable them to build factories that ordinary players couldn't even imagine, capable of mass-producing everything we need in the game. This could be seen as a step towards bringing Minecraft closer to Factorio, the factory-building game that millions are addicted to.

In fact, even casual players will benefit from this item. The author envisions an automated production line generating fuel from seaweed farms, smelting Cobblestone into Stone with a stone crafting machine, and then shaping the resulting Stone blocks into various forms like stairs, fences, ready for building. No more wasting time running back and forth between storage chests, reducing the number of mouse clicks needed for crafting, and turning imagination into reality much faster.
Interim Conclusion
Currently, Mojang hasn't provided an exact release date for Minecraft 1.21, but we can expect the game to be updated around mid-2024. Mytour will keep you updated on this notable version, so don't forget to check back with us!
