GTA 5 made its debut back in 2013 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 systems, and since then, Rockstar has only focused on milking the cash cow that is GTA Online without releasing any new GTA installments. The only new game title they've released during this period is Red Dead Redemption, while the rest have been mere port versions of old games.

This has left numerous GTA fans waiting impatiently, longing to return to the era when Rockstar was extremely productive, releasing three different GTA games in just three years - GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas. This might seem impossible, but at least gamers now know that GTA 6 will be released in 2025, as revealed in the game's first trailer below:
From the images in the trailer above, gamers can surely confirm that GTA 6 will be set in the familiar Vice City from the 2002 version. However, the game's timeframe is no longer the 80s but the modern era, complete with social media and everyday life invasions. The main characters are also confirmed to be a 'gangster couple' with dark skin, likely of Latin American descent.
However, if you're a PC gamer, 2025 might not mark the end of the wait. We all know that Rockstar and Take-Two like to make multiple cash grabs, and new GTA titles always hit consoles first, followed by PC. GTA 5 is a prime example: the game was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013, but it wasn't until 2015 that PC gamers got their hands on it. Therefore, PC players may have to wait until 2026, or... 2027 if Rockstar encounters any hiccups during development.
