(Thethaovanhoa.vn) - Due to various reasons, this game has now planned to cease its operations.
2022 witnessed the emergence of numerous masterpieces in action and combat gaming, surpassing expectations. Nevertheless, amidst the successes, there were also deep disappointments. Some even had to decide to cease operations shortly after a brief period post-launch. A prime example is the blockbuster Let It Die below.
Released in 2016, the game was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and made its PC debut in 2018. With its compelling style, Let It Die garnered significant positive feedback from gamers. This led to the announcement of the new version, Deathverse, in October 2021, bringing considerable excitement.
Deathverse officially entered beta in the summer of the previous year and was also launched in October 2022. However, this marked the beginning of a series of disappointing events for this project. Right from its inception, its highest concurrent player count only reached 1380 - a figure never deemed successful or sustainable for a free-to-play game. As of now, three months post-launch, the player count for the Deathverse version is stuck at a mere 33.
The issue with this game was initially due to extremely poor advertising, resulting in minimal player engagement. Even when the player count seemed stable, everyone had to give in to the abysmal connectivity issues. The developers themselves apologized for the debacle, acknowledging their failure to address fundamental issues, and temporarily suspended the game, awaiting its return.
Currently, the game transactions will close on February 7th, and the project itself will officially cease operations on July 18th.
