Despite putting on a tough front after being rejected by his crush, it was clear that many could sense the bitterness he felt.
Confessing to a crush is always a moment that requires a lot of mental effort, time investment in planning, and sometimes a script developed over many days. Although reality often doesn't align with our expectations, young men always put a lot of effort into preparing for that moment. In recent years, there have even been unique and elaborate confession methods, like the case of Tong Aonan, a 27-year-old mechanic in Tham Duong, China.

Tong Aonan was deeply infatuated with his crush and always thought of the most impressive way to express his feelings. After much contemplation, he decided to create a gift by using colorful Rubik's cubes to piece together a dreamy portrait of his crush. Specifically, as the 27-year-old shared, it took him two months to sketch the portrait, measuring 2.1 meters in height and 1.4 meters in width, using Photoshop. Tong also had to spend nearly $500 (around 10 million VND) to buy 840 Rubik's cubes.

But that was just the preparation stage. It took an additional 20 hours - three sleepless nights - for Tong to complete his masterpiece. And as soon as the final part, attaching the Rubik's cubes to a wooden frame, was finished, Tong was jubilant and immediately prepared for the confession to his crush. However, life is full of surprises. Despite the effort, all Tong received was a rejection filled with disdain.

Although he did not receive approval from his crush, Tong didn't seem overly saddened, believing that at least he managed to truly move her. 'I just wanted to surprise her and express my feelings... but to be rejected, I'm not too bothered, really' - the young man shared. Words may be strong, but looking at those moments of sitting dejectedly next to the portrait of his crush, we might understand just how much Tong is hurting.

After the story was published, the online community quickly shared and expressed sympathy for the young man. Well, if it's not the right person or the right time, then it's just something to accept, isn't it?
