Recently, Chovy has praised Caps, considering him an extremely skilled player. 'Since preparing for Worlds, I have scrimmaged with Caps numerous times. I truly believe he is an exceptional player, standing out more than other players from the LEC region,' Chovy shared.
However, these wings of praise inadvertently led him to receive mixed reviews. The reason being the question posed to Chovy was, 'Who is the standout Mid Laner from a smaller region that impresses you?' Choosing Caps to answer made the audience believe that Chovy undervalues the LEC, seeing it only as a 'small region'.
Of course, we should also empathize with Chovy as this player likely does not intend to undervalue the LEC. Perhaps Chovy understood the question to inquire about Western Mid Laners in general, which is why he chose Caps to respond.
