(Fatherland) - EDG's journey to defend their world championship title seems to be facing numerous challenges.
During the World Championship Finals (Worlds) 2022, the health issues of players have garnered significant attention. As early as the second round of the Group Stage, many players fell ill and had to compete from isolated areas.
Even on the final day of the Group Stage, the entire RNG team was unable to compete on stage. On October 17th, the list of 'patients' at Worlds 2022 continued to grow as JDG announced that Yagao had contracted the illness and was currently in isolation.
The health issues of the players become even more significant when the reigning world champions - EDG - also fall ill.
