This period perfectly aligns with the previous generation which is
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. The product was unveiled almost 7 months after the company introduced the flagship Galaxy S20 series for 2020. Additionally, Samsung's Unpacked event took place around August spotlighting the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5. The company might introduce the Galaxy S23 FE or organize another event to ensure the product doesn't fade into obscurity.

The Price Range of Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
The price range remains the most enticing factor for many users considering Samsung's FE series. Offering a lower price tag compared to premium product lines without compromising too much on features. The most unpredictable aspect currently is whether Samsung will continue selling the Galaxy S22 at a lower price of just 699 USD, roughly 16.5 million Vietnamese dong. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 is priced at 799 USD, approximately 18.8 million Vietnamese dong.
At this point, Samsung has two options: either maintain a similar price point to the Galaxy S22 or go lower by around 100 USD with a price tag of 599 USD, roughly 14.2 million Vietnamese dong. However, this also requires careful consideration as the Galaxy A54 is currently priced at 449 USD, equivalent to 10.5 million Vietnamese dong.

Design and Display of Galaxy S23 FE
Despite no leaks indicating the exact design of the Galaxy S23 FE, one can somewhat predict based on the company's design language this year, with a vertically arranged camera lens module on the back. Even the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A54 shares a similar design language, so the Galaxy S23 FE might not differ much.
Furthermore, the construction material will be the cost-cutting aspect for Samsung on the Galaxy S23 FE. It's likely the company will still use toughened glass material from Corning, but certainly not the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 featured on the Galaxy S23 series.

As for the display, the Galaxy S23 FE will be positioned between the Galaxy S23 (6.1 inches) and Galaxy S23 Plus (6.6 inches) with a size of 6.4 inches, similar to the Galaxy S21 FE. Additionally, the 120Hz refresh rate will remain unchanged but won't support adaptive refresh rates. Users will have to manually adjust the refresh rate on the device, aimed at differentiating the Galaxy S23-series from the Galaxy S23 FE.

Camera System on Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
Since the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE with a 12MP sensor early last year, Samsung has made significant changes to the camera hardware on both the Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy S23 series. This includes the Galaxy S22 receiving an upgrade to a 50MP main camera sensor, also used in the wide-angle camera of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus.

So will Samsung continue to use a 12MP sensor or decide to upgrade the main sensor for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. Upgrading the device's main sensor would bring a more consistent experience across the entire Galaxy S23 series. Meanwhile, the biggest difference will focus on the main sensor with a 200MP sensor.
Additionally, it is hoped that Samsung will continue to retain the ultra-wide-angle sensor and the 8MP telephoto sensor similar to its predecessor. This won't diminish the product experience but will still be enough to differentiate it from the standard Samsung Galaxy S23.

Configuration of Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
When discussing the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, you immediately think of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor customized specifically for Galaxy phones. However, it's highly likely that Samsung won't equip the Galaxy S23 FE with a similar configuration.
The most feasible processor could be the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which has been present on the Galaxy Z Fold4. Although it's been around for a while, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is still very powerful, just not as fast as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Furthermore, with the older processor, the product will also miss out on superior power management features like those on the Galaxy S23 series. These features have helped the flagship trio become some of the most impressively long-lasting phones on the market.

Will Galaxy S23 FE Impact the Value of Galaxy A54 5G?
There's been a lot of information shared about the differences and key upgrades on the Galaxy S23 FE. But have you ever wondered how Samsung plans to avoid impacting mid-range products like the Galaxy A54 5G just recently launched?
According to some rumors, Samsung aims to position the Galaxy S23 FE as a replacement for the discontinued Galaxy A74. Additionally, the Galaxy A54 5G also features a less attractive Exynos processor and lacks a telephoto camera, which are the main differences. Moreover, the pricing of both also varies slightly, which helps Samsung cover every segment.

Expectations from Galaxy S23 FE
If there could be any more expectations from the Galaxy S23 FE, what would you want to see? As for me, the expectations wouldn't be too far-fetched and are listed below.
Upgraded camera:Certainly, consistent experience across the entire Galaxy S23 series is crucial. Hopefully, Samsung won't overlook the 50MP sensor for the Galaxy S23 FE to save costs.
Durability:The removal of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 may be necessary to save costs. However, retaining IP68 water resistance is a standard requirement for devices in the Galaxy S family.
Price of 599 USD:The Galaxy S20 FE garnered significant attention compared to the Galaxy S20 due to its lower price by a few hundred USD. And a price of 599 USD, equivalent to 14.2 million Vietnamese dong, cheaper by 200 USD (around 4.6 million Vietnamese dong), is essential for the success of the Galaxy S23 FE.
