'All You Need to Know' About Lunar New Year Fireworks Locations Nationwide

Hanoi

On New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year of the Wood Goat, in addition to the traditional 30 fireworks locations, including 5 high-altitude locations at Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, Van Quan Lake, and My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi will also organize high-altitude artistic fireworks at the middle of the Red River.

People can stand at Nhật Tân Bridge, Thăng Long Bridge, and more to witness these spectacular fireworks displays. The number of high-altitude fireworks in Hanoi is 3,100 rockets, with 500 rockets per location and 600 rockets at My Dinh National Stadium. Low-altitude fireworks include 2,250 launchers, with 90 launchers per location. The fireworks will last for 15 minutes, starting at midnight.

Hai Duong

The Provincial People's Committee of Hai Duong has approved the locations for the fireworks display in the province. Hai Duong province will organize fireworks at 3 locations: Hai Duong city, Chi Linh town, and Vicem Hoang Thach Cement Company.

In Hai Duong city, there will be 2 low-altitude fireworks locations in the area of Bach Dang Park and 30 October Square. In Chi Linh town, there will be 1 low-altitude fireworks location in the area of Mat Son Lake, Sao Do Ward. At Vicem Hoang Thach Cement Company (in Kinh Mon district), Hai Duong province will organize 1 low-altitude fireworks location in the area of Hoang Thach Bridge. The fireworks will last approximately 15-17 minutes, starting at the stroke of midnight.

Bac Giang

During the Lunar New Year of the Wood Goat, Bac Giang province will host low-altitude fireworks at 7 locations. Specifically, in Bac Giang city, there are 2 fireworks locations, and 5 other locations are distributed in various localities including Luc Ngan, Lang Giang, Tan Yen, Hiep Hoa, and Viet Yen. Each location will have 45 launchers. The fireworks will last for about 15 minutes.

Lang Son

According to the plan, Lang Son province will organize low-altitude fireworks at 11 locations to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Wood Goat in 2015. One location will be in Lang Son city, and the remaining 10 will be in the central areas of townships in various districts. The fireworks in Lang Son city will last for about 15 minutes, while the fireworks at the other 10 locations will last for approximately 10 minutes, starting at midnight on February 19, 2015.

Dien Bien

The People's Committee of Dien Bien province will organize low-altitude fireworks to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Wood Goat at 2 locations: 7/5 Square (Dien Bien Phu City) and the center of Nam Po district. The estimated duration of the fireworks is about 15 minutes, starting from midnight on February 19, 2015.

Lao Cai

To meet the demand for fireworks viewing, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome the new year, Lao Cai city will organize fireworks at 2 locations in the northern and southern parts of the city. The planned locations are Soi Tien area on the Hong River and the stadium in Pom Han ward. The fireworks will last for approximately 15 minutes.

Hai Phong

Hai Phong is planning to have 13 fireworks locations, including 2 high-altitude locations in the city (at Tam Bac Lake and An Bien Lake) and 11 low-altitude locations in districts and districts: Hai An, Kien An, Do Son, Duong Kinh, Kien Thuy, An Lao, Tien Lang, Vinh Bao, An Duong, Thuy Nguyen, Cat Hai. The fireworks will last for about 15 minutes, starting from midnight on February 19, 2015.

Hue

The location for the Lunar New Year 2015 fireworks in Hue is the Imperial City. At exactly midnight on February 19, 2015, the fireworks will illuminate the sky over the Imperial City, creating a magnificent scene.

Da Nang

Lam Dong

The province of Lam Dong will have fireworks at 3 locations: Dalat city, Bao Loc city, and Da Huoai district. The fireworks duration will not exceed 15 minutes, starting from midnight on February 19, 2015.

Quang Ngai

The locations for the Lunar New Year 2015 fireworks in Quang Ngai will be at 3 places: Provincial Square, Pham Van Dong street, and Quang Ngai city. The fireworks will last from 23:10 to 00:15 on February 19, 2015.

Tay Ninh

The provincial People's Committee of Tay Ninh has decided to organize fireworks at 8 locations: Hoa Thanh, Tan Chau, Tan Bien, Chau Thanh, Go Dau, Trang Bang, Duong Minh Chau, and Tay Ninh city. The fireworks duration will be about 15 minutes, starting from midnight on February 19, 2015.

Binh Thuan

In Binh Thuan province, fireworks will be organized at 8 locations. Specifically, Tuy Phong will host the event at the Cultural Park center of the district (in Lien Huong town), Bac Binh will have fireworks in the Chợ Lau town, Ham Thuan Bac at the district People's Committee center, Ham Thuan Nam in Thuận Nam town, Ham Tan will have fireworks in the Tân Minh town area, Phu Quy will organize it at the People's Committee center of the island district, and La Gi town will have fireworks at the Nguyen Thai Hoc residential area – Tan An ward.

In Phan Thiet city, there are plans to organize low-altitude fireworks at 2 locations: Lê Hồng Phong Bridge and Cat Bay Mui Ne Hill. The duration of fireworks in this province will be around 15 minutes, starting from midnight.

Ho Chi Minh City

As planned, HCMC will have 8 fireworks locations to celebrate the New Year of the Goat 2015. Among them, the two main locations are the 68-story building of Bitexco Group (Hồ Tùng Mậu street, District 1) and the Dam Sen area (District 11). The remaining locations include the Thủ Thiêm tunnel (District 2), the cultural center of District 12, the historical and cultural park of ethnic groups (District 9), the Ngã Ba Giồng monument area (Hóc Môn district), the Láng Le – Bàu Cò area (Bình Chánh district), and Can Gio district. Especially at the Bitexco building location, there will be an additional performance of artistic lighting with an estimated budget of around 1.5 million USD. The fireworks will last for about 15 minutes, starting from midnight on February 19, 2015.

Tien Giang

With a 15-minute fireworks display starting at midnight on February 19, 2015, Tiền Giang province organizes low-altitude fireworks to celebrate the Year of the Wood Goat at 5 locations including Cai Lay town, Go Cong town, My Tho city, Cai Lay district, and Cho Gao district.

Vinh Long

Vinh Long province hosts a New Year's Eve festival and fireworks (on the night of the 30th of Tet) at the Square in Vinh Long city. Alongside joyful activities and entertainment to celebrate the Party and the prosperous, diverse spring, the fireworks here also last for approximately 15 minutes, precisely at the moment of transition to the new year.

Can Tho

The fireworks location in Can Tho will be at the Hoa Su restaurant area. In addition, the artistic program to welcome the New Year, titled 'Celebrating the Glorious Party – Welcoming the Year of the Wood Goat – 2015,' takes place at Luu Huu Phuoc Park (at 6:00 PM) with the participation of artists and singers from artistic groups in Can Tho City and Ho Chi Minh City. The duration of the fireworks in this city lasts about 15 minutes.

Ca Mau

Cà Mau province organizes 9 fireworks locations. One location is in Cà Mau city at the Youth Square (Tran Hung Dao Street, Ward 5). The remaining locations are in the central areas of 8 districts: Thoi Binh, Phu Tan, U Minh, Cai Nuoc, Nam Can, Dam Doi, Ngoc Hien, Tran Van Thoi.
