In August 2021, envisioning a viable path in the fiercely competitive PC gaming market, the two founders decided to establish a game studio in Hanoi - Archmage Games Studio officially appeared on the world gaming map, debuting with PC games outsourced for foreign companies.
Building a workforce for a young studio was challenging, making it difficult to assemble a team. However, with the determination and burning passion of the two founders, along with the enthusiasm for PC gaming, young talents chose to join the studio at that time. AMG stood firm and has been flourishing ever since.
Initial successes that made the studio's name
After successful outsourced PC game projects that affirmed the studio's technical expertise, by the end of 2022, AMG officially embarked on the production of its own game project, God of Weapons (GOW). Following its release, GOW achieved significant success compared to indie PC games in general, selling over 100 thousand copies within just two weeks of launch.

GOW has been played by many world-famous KOLs such as Lirik, Sodapoppin, AdmiralBahroo, and prominent YouTubers from Japan. GOW even made its appearance in the renowned PCGamer magazine. The GOW project also marks the collaborative relationship between AMG and Smilegate, a world-famous developer and publisher with hit games like Lost Ark and CrossFire.
In the near future, AMG plans to continue refining and expanding GOW, with initiatives such as bringing GOW to consoles like Switch, Playstation, Xbox, mobile platforms, and developing additional DLC for GOW. Subsequently, the studio will proceed to create games following its diverse product development direction.
Ambition to propel Vietnamese PC Games onto the world stage
AMG envisions game development across various genres such as Simulation, Roguelike, Card Games - Turn-based, and RPG. AMG always aims to provide players with fresh, creative, captivating, and high-quality experiences. Therefore, AMG's games are meticulously invested in every aspect, from storyline, graphics, sound to visual effects.
