Susquehanna recently upgraded Intel's corporate rating from negative to neutral. Explaining this, the investment firm noted that Intel is outperforming AMD in the PC market due to higher competitiveness.

Although AMD previously regained PC processor market share with its highly cost-effective performance strategy, in recent years, it seems to have lost its edge. And with similar strategies on the Intel Gen 12 and Intel Gen 13 lines,
Intel CPUsare back on top.
On a different note, AMD announced its PC processor market share of 30%, quite an impressive figure. However, the focus seems to be more on their EPYC server processors, while the Ryzen CPU line
is possibly facing a significant decline in market share. Moreover, despite AMD's efforts to develop the high-end X3D series for premium PCs, both the Ryzen 7040 Phoenix CPU and AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D are facing delays of around a month. Additionally, supply shortages are a cause for concern. Specifically, the current Dragon Range CPU lineup is only available with the top-tier processor, Ryzen 9 7945HX, while other products remain elusive.

Even though AMD is focusing its resources on developing the X3D series for high-end PCs, both the Ryzen 7040 Phoenix CPU and AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D are experiencing delays of approximately one month. Furthermore, supply shortages are also a worrying factor.

Additionally, when looking at AMD's AM5 platform, users find no options below 250 USD, approximately equivalent to 5.9 million Vietnamese dong. In contrast, Intel offers enticing SKU choices in this segment, with lower investment costs for the platform compared to AMD.
On another note, the AM4 platform remains a top choice for many users due to its relatively low initial cost. The best-selling processor in this lineup is still the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, despite being introduced quite some time ago. Consequently, the company is making efforts to improve through various incentives and promotions from retailers.

However, it may not be smooth sailing for Intel in all aspects. In the server system, Chipzilla's Sapphire Rapids-SP processors are facing fierce competition from AMD's EPYC Genoa, Bergamo, and Genoa-X CPUs. All are set to be launched this year. Meanwhile, The Emerald Rapids-SP, the successor generation, is transitioning to the S1/S2 platform, set to debut later this year.
Nevertheless, Intel has also declared that the company is receiving significant attention from customers and achieving notable victories compared to its competitor, AMD.
