In recent days, the temperature atop Fansipan peak has dropped significantly, cloaking every plant in a transparent layer of icy frost. Along certain steep mountain ridges, the ice has formed into stunningly beautiful pickaxe-shaped formations.
Outdoor temperatures at night sometimes drop to 0 degrees Celsius, until around 8:30 when the sun rises, the ice will melt away. Currently, the temperature in Sapa has compelled tourists to don thick warm clothing. Despite it being early winter, the appearance of ice at this time is deemed slightly premature compared to the average of previous years.
Nevertheless, the early arrival of the ice has delighted the younger generation, as during this time, the temperature in Sapa has not yet become overly frigid. You can still freely roam to admire the natural artistic masterpieces crafted by the snow and ice.
