The popular game finally introduces a new map that delights fans.
Recently, Among Us announced the release of a completely new map slated for October this year. This will be the fourth map in the game's development history. Previous additional designs like Mira HQ and Polus haven't really impressed the gaming community. Specifically, this map is named The Fungle. It's a fun wordplay between the elements Fungus and Jungle. True to its name, astronauts are now stranded in a peculiar mushroom-infested jungle. Unlike the old-school scientific experiment style of the 3 predecessor maps, The Fungle opens up a natural environment full of danger and mystery for players to explore.
A noteworthy aspect of this map is perhaps the integration of natural environment into gameplay. The large mushroom paths, deep wet forests, or misty weather... are the distinctive factors, creating mystery when compared to Mira HQ and Polus.
Of course, opening up a new map will also provide players with many new tasks, costumes, and accessories. Through the teaser introduction, The Fungle also owns traps and a rather complicated defense mechanism, forcing players to be really careful to avoid getting caught.
