Less known than the popular beaches like Truoc, Sau, Dâu, Dứa... this place still preserves its original beauty and tranquility, not far from the urban hustle of Vung Tau city. Welcome to the serene Cua Lap Beach.
The Pristine Aspect of Cua Lap Beach

Following National Highway 51C towards the center of Vung Tau City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), on 3 thang 2 Street, from Do Luong to Hang Dieu streets (within Ward 11), looking to the left reveals a stretch of sand dunes, about 3km long.
Within these sand dunes lie untouched forests and parcels of land overgrown with wild vegetation. Beyond the dunes, you find Cua Lap Beach itself.
On a sunny afternoon in March, from 3 thang 2 Street, we explored several side roads, following paths of soil and stone towards Cua Lap Beach.
In the midst of the dry season, many waterlogged forests have dried up, yet there are still some lakes and ponds retaining their vast and sparkling allure under the sun, evoking a sense of serene beauty.
Scaling over the white sand dunes reveals the pristine beach, alluring with its relentless waves crashing onto the shore, swiftly blending into the tranquil expanse of white sands. People stand atop the dunes amidst wild foliage, gazing at the sea and relishing the breezy gusts from the ocean...
These moments are truly magnificent.
Descending onto Cua Lap Beach, facing southwest, distant skyscrapers still loom over the central area of the coastal city of Vung Tau. Glancing towards the northeast, part of the Long Hai township is visible, nestled along the banks of the Cua Lap River.
We stroll along the beach for 2km without encountering any tourists, only pausing occasionally with excitement to watch some local fishermen casting their lines along the shoreline.
Despite this simplicity, on the way back, we stumble upon two large billboards featuring vivid images and detailed information about a massive tourism project slated for development, prompting concerns about whether Cua Lap will retain its pristine charm in the future.
