To fix a column in Excel 2007, you can follow these methods:
Method 1: Fixing the First Column Only
Step 1:
Step 2: Under Freeze Panes , choose Freeze First Column .
Now you can fix the first column for your Excel file.

Method 2: Fix Multiple Columns
Step 1: Determine the position of the column you want to fix.
Select the first cell in the right column of the column you want to fix (as all columns to the left of the selected column will be fixed).
Step 2: Open the View tab, choose Freeze Panes , and then select Freeze Panes .
