Previously, when capturing a screenshot, you had to tap the X icon in the pop-up window providing sharing and editing options to close it. It was easy to accidentally swipe, resulting in opening another screen. The Android 12 update will allow you to swipe this window left or right to close it (in the previous Developer Preview, you could only swipe left).
