Announcement regarding entry regulations into Thailand effective from 1/5/2022

Starting from May 1st, 2022, travelers entering Thailand via air travel will be subject to new entry conditions.

Detailed information:

1. For those who have been fully vaccinated

- Register for Thailand Pass at: https://tp.consular.go.th/

- Attach necessary documents including passport, vaccination certificate

- Attach insurance certificate with minimum coverage of 10,000 USD for medical treatment in Thailand (applicable only to non-Thai citizens)

(Passengers are not required to undergo COVID-19 testing before and after arrival in Thailand)

Option 1

- Exempt from quarantine: Travelers with negative RT-PCR test results taken within 72 hours before departure must:

- Register for Thailand Pass at: https://tp.consular.go.th/

- Attach necessary documents including passport and RT-PCR COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours before entry (attached on Thailand Pass)

- Attach insurance certificate with minimum coverage of 10,000 USD for medical treatment in Thailand (applicable only to non-Thai citizens)

(No COVID-19 testing required after arrival in Thailand)

Note: Passengers who have been approved for entry into Thailand under the AQ program but wish to enter Thailand under quarantine exemption must resubmit the form on Thailand Pass.

- Quarantine: Passengers without RT-PCR test results within 72 hours before entry or who want to undergo quarantine must:

- Register on Thailand Pass at: https://tp.consular.go.th/

- Attach necessary documents including passport, confirmation of Alternative Quarantine (AQ) hotel stay for 5 days (including 1 RT-PCR test)

- Attach insurance certificate with minimum coverage of 10,000 USD for medical treatment in Thailand (applicable only to non-Thai citizens)

- Conduct RT-PCR test on day 4 - 5 in Thailand during the mandatory 5-day quarantine period at AQ hotel

Note: Tourists with Thailand Pass already issued can travel with the provided QR code and do not need to register for a new Thailand Pass.
