According to insiders, Apple plans to refresh its entire lineup next year, and the iPad mini 7 is one of them. What makes this compact device worth the wait?
Apple may unveil a new iPad mini next year.Apple released the latest iPad mini in September 2021, featuring impressive specs including a larger 8.3-inch display, USB-C port, Touch ID power button, A15 Bionic chip, 5G support on cellular models, 12-megapixel camera with Center Stage, and compatibility with the second-generation Apple Pencil.
According to the renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is aiming to start mass production of the seventh-generation iPad mini in the second half of 2024, meaning the device will be manufactured in July or later. Since Apple rarely unveils new products in July or August, the next iPad mini is likely to be introduced in September or October next year.
In terms of features, the iPad mini 7 is expected to run on the A16 Bionic chip, promising superior performance compared to its predecessor. This tablet is also anticipated to have upgrades in the camera department and introduce new color options. Moreover, there's a high probability that the next-generation iPad mini will support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
