POCO C50 concept stands out with dynamic design, extreme versatility, and trend-setting features.
When it comes to POCO, a dynamic and slightly more prominent appearance compared to other competitors in the same segment will be the first factor we must mention. The most typical example of this is none other than the predecessor POCO C40, which was launched in the middle of 2022, and it is expected that in the future, the POCO C50 will also follow the same design style as its previous version.
However, unfortunately, information and images related to the design concept of the POCO C50 have not yet been revealed. Fortunately, I found a concept of a device from the same brand, the POCO X5 GT, which was re-enacted very well by the YouTube channel Thakur tech world, which aligns perfectly with what I expect for the concept of the POCO C50, so I will use this concept to describe the overall design that I expect for the POCO C50 for you to imagine easily!
Hope that the POCO C50 will have a design concept similar to that in the video. Source: Thakur tech world. In any smartphone device, the back design is always a highlight that attracts users' attention to the device more. Therefore, in the POCO C50, I hope that the prominence and dynamism will be expressed through the matte smooth back and square frame, combined with vibrant colors like Gold, Orange, Blue,... similar to previous devices from the same brand, to bring a cleaner and more attractive appearance to the device.
Hope that the back design of the POCO C50 will still maintain its prominence in the design process. Personally, I expect a rear camera cluster designed with a large rectangular frame containing small sensors inside, similar to the POCO C40 predecessor. Because the previous C40 version has adorned a fairly standard and characteristic appearance of POCO, so I hope POCO C50 will also inherit this camera cluster design from its 'predecessor'.
Hope that the POCO C50 will have a rear camera cluster made similar to the previous POCO C40 generation. Source: Thakur tech world. As for the display, for a budget smartphone, I won't have too many high demands in this regard and hope POCO C50 will continue to use the same screen specifications as the POCO C40 predecessor. Specifically, the device will be equipped with a waterdrop display with an IPS LCD panel measuring 6.71 inches and offering HD+ resolution.
Expectations for the POCO C50 include an LCD screen measuring 6.71 inches with HD+ resolution (illustration of POCO C40).Although not upgraded, don't worry about the image quality that the device produces, as this specification has worked very well on the POCO C40, and I believe POCO C50 will be able to do the same with the equipment it possesses!
POCO C50 configuration upgraded, standout with Snapdragon 680 chip
Regarding the performance of the POCO C50, the GizNext website indicates that the POCO C50 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, which is also my expectation for a POCO C50 with upgraded performance compared to the JR510 chip in the POCO C40 generation. For those who don't know, the Snapdragon 680 is an 8-core chip consisting of 4 high-clocking Gold cores at 2.4 GHz and 4 average-clocking Silver cores at 1.9 GHz and is manufactured on a 6 nm process. Therefore, with the Snapdragon 680, we can totally expect a powerful performance that the POCO C50 will possess in the future.
POCO C50 is expected to have stronger performance thanks to the Snapdragon 680 chip (illustration of POCO C40).To help the Snapdragon 860 perform better, I expect the POCO C50 to be equipped with two RAM options: 4 GB or 6 GB, along with 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage to provide users with multiple memory versions to meet their data storage needs.
Along with that, POCO C50 is expected to have 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage (illustration of POCO C40).I'll summarize the entire configuration of the POCO C50 based on my expectations right below to make it easier for you to grasp:
- Display: 6.71 inches, IPS LCD panel, HD+ resolution.
- CPU: Snapdragon 680.
- RAM: 4 GB or 6 GB.
- ROM: 64 GB or 128 GB.
- Rear Camera: 13 MP + 2 MP.
- Selfie Camera: 5 MP.
- Battery: 6,000 mAh, 18 W fast charging.
POCO C50 features a large 6,000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging
To help users use the device for a long time, owning a battery with a fairly large capacity is quite obvious. In this regard, when it is launched, it is expected that the device will be equipped with a battery with a capacity of 6,000 mAh, which is also the most outstanding point of the predecessor generation POCO C40. In addition, the 6,000 mAh capacity is a super large number compared to the general level of the budget smartphone market and can easily meet your usage needs throughout a long day for basic tasks and light entertainment!
Hope that the POCO C50 still maintains the highlight of the large battery in the POCO C40 (illustration of POCO C40).Not only that, the POCO C50 is also expected to feature fast charging with 18 W power. This fast charging power level may not be very impressive, but for a budget smartphone, it's indeed a quite decent feature.
How much is the POCO C50? When will the POCO C50 be released?
As of now, information about the release date and price of the POCO C50 has not yet surfaced. Therefore, I have relied on information from the predecessor generation POCO C40 and predicted that the POCO C50 will be launched around early June 2023 with a price ranging from 3.5 million to 4 million VND for the standard version. However, these are just my speculations and expectations, so stay tuned for the latest information about the POCO C50 on the 24h Technology website!
