Prior rumors suggested that the Xiaomi 13 Lite would be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi CIVI 2, implying a near-identical appearance between the two phones. This suggests that the next addition to the Xiaomi 13 series will sport a stunning edge-to-edge curved display on the front, with extremely thin bezels.
Similar to the CIVI 2, the Xiaomi 13 Lite has surfaced in renders with a pill-shaped punch hole at the top for the dual selfie cameras. It remains unclear whether Xiaomi will introduce software features to enable users to interact with this top cutout, akin to Apple's iPhone 14 Pro models.

According to rumors and leaks, the Xiaomi 13 Lite is rumored to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution, 402 ppi pixel density, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, this smartphone is said to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Surprisingly, leaks suggest that this phone will ship with Android 12 out of the box instead of the latest Android 13.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G is rumored to boast a 4,500mAh battery paired with 67W fast charging. This ensures uninterrupted usage throughout the day.
Camera
The rear of the Xiaomi 13 Lite will house a triple camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The front-facing duo will comprise a 32MP primary sensor and a 32MP ultra-wide sensor. Given the high user ratings for these cameras on the Xiaomi CIVI 2, we can expect the Xiaomi 13 Lite to deliver impressive photo quality.
Pricing and Release Date
Xiaomi has recently confirmed that it will hold an event in Vietnam at 15:00 on February 27th to unveil the Xiaomi 13 Lite alongside the premium duo Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Pre-orders for the Xiaomi 13 Lite are now open, with a retail price of 11.49 million Vietnamese dong for the 8GB/256GB variant. The phone comes in two colors: black and blue.
