Beside BOX Gaming, the remaining 2 Vietnamese teams, Saigon Phantom and V Gaming, will proceed to the next round. Saigon Phantom had a challenging start in the group stage, losing 2-3 to MAD Team in their opening match. Nonetheless, they secured crucial victories to lead Group B after the group stage.
Meanwhile, V Gaming faced off against a soaring BRU with Nunu's wings but couldn't secure victories in both matches. However, securing the 2nd position in Group C was enough for them to advance.
After the conclusion of the group stage, APL 2022 organizers conducted the draw to determine the matchups in the Playoffs. Saigon Phantom will face the reigning GCS champions, Bikertopia. As for V Gaming, they will continue to encounter their old rivals from the same group, BRU, in the next round. These are all strong and extremely challenging opponents to secure victories against.
