Apple achieves staggering $90 billion in revenue, iPhone 14 Pro falls short in sales

In the final fiscal quarter of 2022 (6/26-9/24), Apple once again delivers impressive revenue of $90.1 billion and profit of $20.7 billion. Major business segments continue to grow, including iPhone, Mac, services, and wearables. The only decline is seen in iPad with a 13.1% revenue drop compared to the same period last year.

Despite iPhone 14's late release in the fourth quarter, it remains Apple's highest revenue-generating device, raking in $42.63 billion, nearly half of the total. Speaking to CNBC, Tim Cook acknowledges ongoing supply constraints, attributing the shortfall in iPhone 14 Pro sales to this issue.

Mac computers also performed well in the last quarter with $11.51 billion in revenue. However, Apple anticipates a decline in the next quarter, despite rumors of the imminent launch of the MacBook Pro 14 and 16' M2.
