Users will be unable to access any Apple services except iCloud on devices running these software versions:
- iOS 11 to iOS 11.2.6
- macOS 10.13 to macOS 10.13.3
- watchOS 4 to watchOS 4.2.3
- tvOS 11 to tvOS 11.2.6
In an internal document, Apple notes that affected users may receive reminders to update their devices to newer software versions.

Apple has not explained why most of their services will stop functioning on these older software versions, released from late 2017 to early 2018, but this action will only affect a small percentage of users. For example, in mid-February, Apple stated that only 8% of iPhones are running iOS 11 or lower.
Apple offers a variety of services, including Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple TV+, Apple Fitness+, Apple News+, and more.
