Apple extends free warranty period for AirPods Pro with sound issues to 3 years

Last year, Apple announced a program offering free replacement for AirPods Pro experiencing sound issues such as static or errors when activating ANC. Recently, Apple has extended the warranty period for AirPods Pro to 3 years from the launch of the headphones. This means if you purchased AirPods Pro for the first time in 2019, they will be covered until 2022. If purchased before October 2020, coverage extends until 2023.

According to Apple, AirPods Pro units manufactured after October 2020 have been reliable and have not experienced sound or ANC issues. Note that for customers experiencing issues with one earbud (left, right, or both), Apple will only replace the problematic earpiece, not the entire set including the charging case. This program applies to AirPods Pro only, and not to AirPods and AirPods Max.
