As announced at this year's global developers conference, one of the most significant changes you'll notice in this update is the introduction of dark mode. While this feature was implemented with macOS last year, it's now making its debut on iOS and iPadOS, consistent across all applications. When updating to the new version, you'll find an option to switch to dark mode and new screen background patterns, depending on the mode you choose.
The reminders and maps app have been redesigned with smart lists and an option to view 3D images of areas, similar to Google Street View. Apple Music was expected to display song lyrics during playback, but this feature has been reserved for the iOS 13.1 update, currently in the testing phase.
The redesigned photo library will help distinguish actual photos from screenshots, memes, and other items that may clutter your storage. You'll find a new user interface in the photo editing section, allowing you to apply similar effects to video editing.
The messaging section will feature Memoji stickers, and you can choose an image (such as a Memoji) as your avatar. This image may automatically display to the recipient. Memoji stickers are automatically generated from your Memoji.
Something not observed in the trial version, as it depends on third-party apps, is this new Apple ID login option. Any app allowing you to log in with a third-party service - like Facebook or Google - will have to implement this. It lets you choose to provide your email address when signing up for a service, and if you don't want to, Apple will send a special email to the app developer. When you stop using this service, that email address will also be discontinued. Currently, apps like SwiftKey already support it on iOS 13.
But that's not all, as watchOS 6 and tvOS 13 have also been released. Both can be installed on the same device if they use the operating system released last year, meaning on Apple Watch Series 1 or newer and Apple TV 4th generation or later.
Recently, Microsoft launched a free Python course for beginners. There are a total of 44 short, concise videos built on the knowledge and experience of those who came before. Learners can find this video series on YouTube.
