The upcoming event marks the second consecutive year that Apple has had to unveil a new iPhone online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The live stream will be available on Apple's official website, the company's YouTube channel, and the Apple TV app.
The iPhone 13 series is anticipated as the highlight of the event. However, similar to previous years, the event will not solely focus on the iPhone. Rumors suggest that Apple might introduce two other devices, including the Apple Watch Series 7 and 3rd generation AirPods.

iPhone 13 is set to receive significant upgrades
According to BGR, Apple's 2021 iPhone lineup still comprises 4 models and 3 screen sizes similar to the iPhone 12. The prices for each model are reportedly unchanged compared to the previous generation.
The design of the iPhone 13 will undergo changes compared to its predecessor. Numerous rumors suggest that the notch on the front for the camera and speakers on the iPhone 13 will be shorter, measuring 26.8 mm compared to 34.83 mm on previous models. To achieve this, Apple will relocate the speakers to the top edge of the screen, similar to some recent Samsung devices.

Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, mentioned that the battery capacity of the 4 iPhone 13 models will be larger than the previous generation.
According to leaker Digital chat station, the iPhone 13 mini is expected to have a 2,406 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the battery capacity of the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro duo will see a significant increase, going from 2,815 mAh to 3,095 mAh. The top-tier iPhone 13 Pro Max will boast an increased battery capacity of 4,352 mAh. Last year, the iPhone 12 Pro Max utilized a 3,687 mAh battery.
In terms of camera capabilities, the iPhone 13 is rumored to feature a sensor that captures more light, improved optical image stabilization, and enhanced wide-angle shooting. The device may also introduce a portrait video recording mode with background blur, along with a high-quality video format named ProRes, offering users more customization options post-recording.
Leveraging artificial intelligence algorithms, the camera software on the iPhone 13 will analyze details in each photo and suggest a variety of filters with colors and contrast for users to choose from.
Beyond camera upgrades, the iPhone 13 series will be equipped with the A15 processor using an improved 5nm process, delivering higher performance than the A14 Bionic while consuming less energy.
Additionally, rumors suggest that the iPhone 13 will offer a 1TB internal storage option, an always-on display mode, and some new color choices. However, the in-display fingerprint sensor technology is not expected to debut on this generation of iPhones.
