Apple Music's Content Management Head, Rachel Newman, stated: “Our daily MV lineup will feature renowned artists like Drake, Dua Lipa, BTS, Billie Eilish, alongside a mix of various genres to keep the audience engaged. It's a fantastic way for music enthusiasts to easily access popular and new releases, while also providing seamless access to Apple Music directly from the TV app with just a simple tap”.Starting today, Apple Music TV kicks off with a series of the top 100 streamed MVs in the US since the launch of Apple Music in 2015. Apple Music TV won't have hosts or scripted segments but will serve as a primary channel for diverse visual content (MV, interview videos...). Apple Music TV also collaborates on certain content with the Verzuz show by producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland.
Additionally, Apple Music TV will host other special events. Next Thursday, the channel will air content related to Bruce Springsteen all day to kick off the release of the album Letter To You. This includes MVs, live performances, interviews on Apple Music 1 radio (hosted by Zane Lowe), and a live-stream event with 1,000 lucky fans getting an early listen to the album.
