Reports suggest that Apple has placed orders for OLED display panels from Samsung and LG Display, aiming to support the production of the next-generation iPad Pro, expected to be released next year.
According to Business Korea, Apple has procured 10.9-inch and 12.9-inch OLED display panels from LG and Samsung, while China's BOE supplier has been excluded from this deal. As per reports from Economic Daily News of Taiwan, Apple has yet to finalize the quantity of orders, but the company plans to distribute the quantity evenly between the two suppliers.

Previously, reports have indicated that Apple intends to design thinner bezels for the 2024 iPad, with screen sizes of 11.1 inches and 13 inches. Display analyst Ross Young has also disclosed similar information, suggesting that these products are likely to be launched in early 2024.
At present, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with mini-LED and the 11-inch iPad Pro with traditional LCD screens are still available for purchase. The higher-end iPad Pro models come with mini-LED backlit displays.
Additionally, the release of Apple's new MacBook models with OLED displays is also highly anticipated. According to a report from Mark Gurman, the first MacBook Pro equipped with an OLED display will be released in 2025. This could also mark Apple's first MacBook with a touchscreen display.
The production of 13-inch MacBook Air with OLED display and OLED iPad Pro is expected in 2024.
