Mark Gurman recently provided fresh insights into Apple's 2022 Mac lineup. According to Gurman, Apple will unveil up to 5 new Mac models next year, all equipped with Apple M2 and M1X chips.

However, Apple continued to sell Intel-based models like the iMac 2020. The arrival of devices featuring the new M2 chip could signify a significant breakthrough and direct competition with Intel hardware.
Gurman also reveals that Apple plans to release two different models of MacBook Pro. The top-tier model may feature a powerful M1X processor, while the lower-end model will be equipped with either an M2 chip or a variant of it.
