Recently, journalist Mark Gurman of Bloomberg disclosed information indicating that Apple will release iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 simultaneously in September this year.
Apple is set to release iPadOS 17 alongside iOS 17 in September. It's common knowledge that new software for iPhone and iPad is typically introduced with new features at the annual WWDC event. Subsequently, the company will release multiple betas for developers and participants in the public beta program to test before the official release in September.
According to sources close to journalist Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is considering the 8th beta of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 as the final version. The eighth beta of both operating systems has been released to developers and public beta testers last week. The tech giant headquartered in Cupertino plans to release both new software versions for iPhone and iPad simultaneously this September.
Last year, iOS 16 was exclusively released for iPhone on September 12. However, iPadOS 16 was launched on October 24, nearly a month after iOS 16. This delay was due to issues related to Stage Manager.
For those unfamiliar, iOS 17 currently features Standby mode, new AirDrop capabilities, interactive widgets, journaling apps, and other upgrades. iPadOS 17 will come with customizable lock screen, Safari configuration, Health app, and more.
