Yesterday, Apple released all the minor updates the company has been testing since early February, including iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, macOS 10.15.4, watchOS 6.2, and tvOS 13.4. This was actually announced last week alongside the launch of the new iPad Pro models.
Apple releases iOS 13.4, macOS 10.15.4, watchOS 6.2, and tvOS 13.4
This is because the new iPad Pro, including the 2018 model, comes with a new keyboard accessory accompanied by a trackpad. The main feature of iPadOS 13.4 is trackpad support. Another feature is folder sharing in iCloud Drive, which will also be included in iOS 13.4. Users will find better options for viewing and editing permissions.
In watchOS 6.2, users will notice ECG is now available in Chile, New Zealand, and Turkey. This update also enables in-app purchases within Apple Watch apps.
Certainly, these are just minor updates, so you won't find any major game-changing features. Instead, those kinds of features will be reserved for the major updates we'll see this fall. We'll learn more about iOS 14, macOS 10.16, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14 at WWDC in June, and you'll be able to check out the betas right after. Of course, this is assuming everything is still on track, barring any delays due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
