Today, Apple has launched the release candidate (RC) version of macOS Ventura 13.5 for developers for testing purposes. This software appears about 2 weeks after Apple released the fifth beta version.

Registered developers can now download the beta version through Apple's Developer Center. Once the appropriate configuration is installed, betas are available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.
No notable features were found in the last 5 beta versions of macOS 13.5, so it's still unclear if Apple will introduce any features in the latest test version. .6 lays the groundwork for iMessage Contact Key Verification, so it's likely to also appear on macOS Ventura 13.5 as it's a cross-platform setting.
With macOS Sonoma currently in development and expected to be released this fall, Apple's work on macOS 13 will soon come to an end. macOS 13.5 could be one of the final updates for macOS Ventura.
