Apple releases Safari Technology Preview 169 with bug fixes and performance enhancements

Today, Apple rolled out a new update for Safari Technology Preview, the browser they first introduced in March 2016.

Dubbed as the 'Apple House,' they crafted Safari Technology Preview to test features potentially making their way into future Safari releases.

The Safari Technology Preview 169 release encompasses bug fixes and performance boosts for Web Inspector, CSS, Scroll Snap, JavaScript, Popover, SVG, Accessibility, Media, Rendering, and Web API.

The current iteration of Safari Technology Preview stands at version 16.4, catering to machines running macOS Ventura and macOS Monterey 12.3 onwards. It's available via the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences or directly from the Safari Technology Preview website. Apple's aim with Safari Technology Preview is to amass feedback from developers and users regarding their browser development process. Safari Technology Preview can operate alongside the existing Safari browser. Despite its developer-centric design, it doesn't mandate a developer account for download.
