Apple releases the 3rd public beta of iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4

After issuing iOS 16.4 beta 3 to developers, Apple continues with the 3rd trial version for users enrolled in Apple's testing program.

iOS 16.4 beta 3 continues to bring new features for testing purposes before being released to all users.

For users enrolled in Apple's testing program, they can update their iPhones to iOS 16.4 beta 3 by accessing

and selecting

General Settings

then select

Software Update

. This trial version is labeled as 20E5229e.

Alongside iOS 16.4 public beta 3, Apple also brings the following updates:

iPadOS 16.4 beta 3
watchOS 9.4 beta 3
tvOS 16.4 beta 3
macOS Ventura 13.3 beta 3

iOS 16.4 brings a variety of new features such as new emojis, upgraded Music app, 5G Standalone, new HomeKit architecture, and more. The update is expected to be rolled out to all users in March or April.
