The beta unveiling coincides with Apple's announcement of the visionOS software development kit (SDK), allowing third-party developers to create applications for Vision Pro augmented reality glasses.
Apple releases the first beta version of VisionOS.The SDK is accessible through Xcode 15 beta 2, and while developers cannot yet utilize Vision Pro, Apple will begin allowing testing starting next month.
In July, Apple plans to open a developer lab in select countries worldwide. Consequently, some developers will be able to register for the development kit to test applications directly on Vision Pro.
Although visionOS 1.0 is currently unavailable for download due to the requirement of Vision Pro, this new software will bring us insights into the features that Apple will equip on its augmented reality glasses. Let's stay tuned for more updates!
