Apple releases the first trial version of iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4 to developers

Just 3 weeks after the debut of iOS 16.3, Apple has issued the initial trial version of iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4 for developers.

Currently, there is no public trial version of iOS 16.4 available. This version is expected to be released either later this week or the following week.

iOS 16.4 beta 1 is exclusively for registered developers. Developers can update to iOS 16.4 by accessing

Settings

, selecting

General Settings Configuration

then select

Software Update

. The build number for today's update is 20E5212f.

Alongside iOS 16.4 beta 1, Apple has also released:

watchOS 9.4 beta 1, build number: 20T5222g.
tvOS 16.4 beta 1, build number: 20L5463g.
macOS Ventura 13.3, build number: 22E5219e.

iOS 16.4 is set to introduce a plethora of features that Apple has announced but not yet released, as well as features still in development.
