Apple releases the fourth beta of iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 to developers

After the release of iOS 16.1.2 to iPhone users, Apple continues the release of iOS 16.2 beta 4 to developers.

Alongside iOS 16.2, Apple is also in the process of testing the new versions of watchOS 9.2, tvOS 16.2, and macOS Ventura 13.1.

Developers can update their devices to iOS 16.2 by accessing the

Settings

app, selecting General, and then choosing Software Update. The software versions released today include:

iOS 16.2 beta 4
iPadOS 16.2 beta 4
macOS Ventura 13.1 beta 4
watchOS 9.2 beta 4
tvOS 16.2 beta 4

Recently, Apple unveiled the new feature 'Rapid Security Response' for users of the iOS 16.2 beta. This feature allows Apple to release quick bug fixes without users needing to install an entirely new version.

iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 include several noteworthy new features. The new Freeform app is now usable on both iPhone and Mac. Additionally, there are new Home and Weather apps, and more.
