Apple's WWDC21: A Prolonged Event with Sparse Excitement

This seems to be one of Apple's events that I found quite lacking in captivating information. It's not that there's no hardware; it's just that I feel it's a bit dull. Essentially, what Apple brings to their operating systems is quite minimal. At most, iPadOS doesn't seem to offer much more than the previous version, and watchOS is practically unchanged.

Similar to previous WWDC events, Apple hosted a rather lengthy event, nearly 2 hours long. Here's what I perceive:

Despite the minimal changes in the latest operating systems, iPadOS stands out with notable improvements in multitasking and easier note-taking. However, watchOS seems to be largely overlooked. The presentation of content lacks focus, with too many scattered and ambitious elements. The extravagant event and excessive emphasis on aesthetic elements deviate from Apple's traditional product-centric approach. The stage crowded with speakers, some lacking the ability to effectively convey features, fails to captivate the audience. The absence of new hardware compounds these shortcomings.

I've upgraded to iPadOS and iOS, and for fellow Apple developers, the updates are now accessible. The Mod team and I will share our experiences with you soon.

Here's hoping that Apple organizes a hardware event soon to compensate for the lackluster presentation.
