Starting later this year, iOS users can chat with their friends using a single emoji expressing that they feel like mischievous ninjas wearing masks. Apple has teased 13 new emojis set to release for its mobile platform, all part of choices approved by the Unicode Consortium back in January. While the organization showcased images of the newly approved emojis back then, Apple always sets higher graphic standards to give them a distinct look on its platform.

Alongside the ninja emoji, the emoji set includes bubble tea, realistic-looking heart and lungs, as well as the 'Italian Hand' gesture that many refer to as the 'Italian Hand - Mano Italiana.' It also includes the transgender symbol - one of the emojis approved by the Unicode Consortium to make the emoji collection on gender more diverse. It's unclear when the transgender flag, the emoji face with a tear drop, and the new gender-inclusive mask and Tuxedo options will be released.
These emojis are expected to debut alongside iOS 14 in the fall of this year. According to Emojipedia, Apple is also rolling out new color mask options for Memojis, avatars that users can create to mimic themselves and track their facial expressions.
