Today, Apple unveiled the Apple silicon version of the Mac Pro featuring the all-new M2 Ultra chip. With this update, Apple's transition to Apple silicon is now complete.
The first 'Apple' silicon Mac appeared in 2020, and three years later, every Mac now uses chips designed by Apple.
M2 Ultra Chip ConfigurationThe Mac Pro is the last Mac to still use older Intel chip technology, and with the introduction of the new M2 Ultra model, Intel versions have been discontinued.
Apple may still be selling refurbished Intel Macs through their online store, but none of their current product lines use Intel chip technology.
The M2 Ultra chip is now available in both Mac Pro and Mac Studio, with both available for pre-order today and set to hit shelves next week. The Mac Pro M2 Ultra starts at $6,999, while the Mac Studio M2 Ultra starts at $3,999.
This duo is expected to arrive in Vietnam with a price tag of 54.99 million dong for the Mac Studio M2 Ultra and 179.99 million dong for the Mac Pro M2 Ultra.
