Apple has released watchOS 9.6.1 today, a minor bug-fix update. It's noted that the software emerges about two weeks after 'The Big Apple' unveiled watchOS 9.6, another bug-fix update.

According to Apple, the watchOS 9.6.1 update includes a bug fix preventing access to motion data for apps using the Movement Disorder API to track tremors and symptoms related to Parkinson's disease.
watchOS 9 will soon be replaced by watchOS 10, the next-generation version of watchOS that Apple is currently beta testing.
