It's noted that this new software emerges just a day after Apple rolled out macOS Sonoma 14.1, bringing some new features to Mac users.
Apple launches first beta of macOS Sonoma 14.2Currently, registered developers can opt-in to the beta version through the Software Update section of the System Preferences app. In the Beta Software Update section, enable Sonoma Developer Beta. Note that an Apple ID linked to an Apple Developer account is required to download the beta.
In the previous macOS Sonoma 14.1 update, Apple introduced a new warranty section allowing you to view the AppleCare+ status of your Mac and connected AirPods, along with options for favorite songs, albums, and playlists in the Apple Music app. Below is Apple's full release notes for the update.
