The new iCloud for Windows app includes iCloud Drive, iCloud Photos, Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Safari bookmarks, and more.
With iCloud for Windows:
- Safely store users' photos and videos on iCloud. With iCloud Photos, photos and videos taken on iOS devices including iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch will automatically download to the PC. According to Microsoft, the iCloud Drive feature on Windows is designed, based on technologies like OneDrive Files On-Demand, allowing users to use offline on mobile devices more efficiently and quickly share files on iOS.
Additionally, Apple also provides support documents to help users get familiar with iCloud for Windows. Basically, Apple devices need to install and sign in to iCloud beforehand.
