Apple presents the refreshed iPad 10 with eSIM support in ChinaAccording to Apple's recent support documentation, China Unicom is currently the only eSIM provider supported for the iPad in China. To use eSIM in this country, users need the 10th generation iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) model A3162. All other iPad models do not support eSIM in China.
Notably, eSIM is a digital SIM that allows users to activate mobile plans without the need for a physical nano-SIM card. Apple's support documentation provides additional details on setting up eSIM on the updated 10th generation iPad in China and activating mobile data plans via eSIM from network providers in other countries while traveling.
In addition to supporting eSIM in China, the newly introduced iPad 10 by Apple shares technical specifications and features identical to other variants of this model.
