Recently, I experienced the battery replacement service for my Apple Watch (series 5, cellular) at the Apple Store in Berlin. This watch has been my companion for quite some time and is already out of warranty. To my surprise, the Apple Store replaced it with a brand-new watch, still sealed - despite the fact that the one I brought in was old with many scratches and a deeply scratched screen.In fact, I've utilized Apple's Apple Care warranty service multiple times and have received entirely new devices in return. From iPhone X (2020, during Apple's screen recall), iPad Pro (with a dead pixel issue, still under a month of warranty), to a Macbook Pro (Intel 2019, experiencing lag, with a few months of Care left). However, I didn't expect my out-of-warranty Apple Watch to receive the same level of exceptional service.
Things I Like
The service was swift, straightforward, and DID NOT require a receipt (I bought it in Vietnam, so where's the receipt xD). They didn't scrutinize whether I dropped it or dunked it in water; they promptly exchanged it for a brand-new watch of the same series. The Apple Store is modern and welcoming.

To Buy or Not to Buy?
Give it a try. If Apple Stores and its top-notch after-sales service set foot in Vietnam, it will significantly change the market and habits of the Vietnamese people.
