Apple Watch Ultra 2 slated for release this year with 3D-printed componentsComponents may include the Digital Crown, Side Button, and Action Button, as these are the only mechanical parts of the Apple Watch Ultra. These titanium parts are currently manufactured using CNC machines.
This change holds the potential to enhance production time and reduce costs. If shipments from suppliers proceed smoothly, Kuo believes that many of Apple's future products will adopt 3D printing technology.
Up to the present moment, only Mark Gurman from Bloomberg has stated that Apple will release
Apple Watch Ultra 2 in 2023alongside the Apple Watch Series 9 models later this year. Therefore, Kuo's latest report appears to add more credibility to the notion that the Apple Watch Ultra will follow the annual update cycle similar to the standard Apple Watch lineup.
