Once boasting an unbeatable team longer than SKT T1 Summer 2015 in League of Legends history, yet the outcome stands in stark contrast.
At the present moment, T1 stands as the sole team maintaining an unbeaten streak since the season's inception, only considering the 4 Major tournaments in the League of Legends scene. And on the afternoon of March 06 (Vietnam time), they will enter into a 'Media Showdown' with KT Rolster. Given KT's current fluctuating form this season, a victory is entirely within the grasp of Faker and his teammates.

If victorious in the match against KT, T1 will equal the record of 14 consecutive unbeaten matches established by SKT T1 in the Summer of 2015. Post the KT encounter, T1's adversaries all rank as relatively lesser-known entities, including Kwangdong Freecs, Fredit BRION, Liiv SANDBOX, and DRX. Among these, perhaps only DRX poses a challenge to Faker and his teammates. Thus, this presents a prime opportunity for Faker and his teammates to extend their winning streak and become the sole undefeated team in all group stage matches in the history of League of Legends up to the present.

If able to secure victories from now until the conclusion of the LCK Spring 2022 group stage, T1 will also shatter the record of 18 consecutive unbeaten matches set by Invictus Gaming in Spring 2018. At that time, IG suffered defeat in the opening match against Royal Never Give Up, but subsequently recorded 18 straight wins, cementing IG as the team with nearly flawless group stage performance in League of Legends at that period. Notably, they also avenged successfully against RNG with a 2-0 victory in the rematch.

However, following such an almost flawless group stage phase, IG faltered in the Semifinals, courtesy of... RNG themselves. This defeat resulted in IG losing their spot in MSI 2018. Moreover, the loss to RNG also had a psychological impact, leading IG to further lose to Rogue Warriors in the 3-4 match.
At the current moment, T1 is sprinting towards the finish line. If Faker and his teammates maintain their form, they will have no qualms against any opponent. However, T1 must also remain vigilant because playoffs will be vastly different from the group stage, and teams will enter the competition with the utmost determination and peak performance.
