It's amusing how the greatest success of a gaming company like Riot is a TV series, Arcane.
As we all know, in the past year 2021, Riot Games officially released the TV series Arcane on Netflix, and it quickly became a massive hit. With outstanding visuals, sound design, and a deep storyline, the series successfully captivated even the most discerning audiences.

And of course, with such an excellent work, it deserves awards to honor its value. Specifically, at the Annie Awards (an award honoring outstanding animated works in the United States), Arcane swept all 9 categories it was nominated for. This is considered a tremendous success for Riot Games as Arcane is the first animated series the gaming company has produced.

The specific awards that the TV series Arcane won at the Annie Awards:
Best Outstanding Script.
Outstanding Voice Acting.
Best Character Design.
Outstanding Media Production for All Ages.
Top-notch Production Process.
Best Illustration Storyboard Design.
Exceptional Directing.
Best Animation Effects.

Immediately after this announcement, Riot Games received many congratulations from the audience as well as fans of the series. Truly, this is an outstanding animated series in many aspects, deserving all the highest praises. Many have urged Riot Games to produce more similar products like Arcane in the near future.

Additionally, Riot Games has faced quite a bit of mockery from its own players. It's hard not to be mocked when, as a gaming company, Riot wins big at a film production awards. Meanwhile, their flagship game - League of Legends - still encounters numerous issues with balance and frequent game bugs.
Hopefully, in the future, Riot will put in more effort to address the remaining issues with League of Legends. As for products like Arcane, gamers may have to wait quite a while longer (at least until 2023) as Riot has shared that the second season of this series will not appear this year.
