ARK: Survival Ascended reveals its roadmap for revitalizing old maps

Recently, the development roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended has been unveiled, promising a plethora of new content stretching from 2024 to 2025. However, the release of Scorched Earth, the game's first DLC map, has been delayed once again, now set for March 2024.ARK: Survival Ascended is a game redeveloped from ARK: Survival Evolved. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game introduces incredibly realistic and sharp graphics. It serves as a bridge for players awaiting the release of ARK 2. However, Studio Wildcard hasn't neglected its content. Recently, they announced the game's roadmap, promising a variety of new maps to be updated throughout 2024 until the end of 2025.

Initially, Scorched Earth was set to release alongside ARK: Survival Ascended. However, it has been delayed until December 2023, and now players will need to continue waiting until March 2024. Following Scorched Earth, players can expect to swiftly access subsequent new maps: The Center in May, Aberration in July, Ragnarok in September, Extinction in October, and Valguero in December. In the 2024 roadmap, November is hinted at as 'something surprising,' and we eagerly anticipate what the developers have in store.Stepping into 2025, players will receive Genesis Part I in February, Crystal Isles in April, Genesis Part II in May, Lost Island in August, and Fjordur in October. Detailed information about Next Canon's upcoming expansions is still pending.In addition to DLCs for new maps, players of ARK: Survival Ascended can still anticipate other new content such as the Survival of the Fittest game mode, expected to launch on December 20, 2023.
